Description: This workshop will run through the basics of Kathak dance, a North Indian classical dance style, with a focus on footwork, pirouettes and rhythm, accompanied by live tabla drumming. It will also cover ‘mudras’ or hand gestures, and the unique aspect of storytelling in Indian dance.
Dance Allsorts Workshops are designed for all ages and all abilities. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
